[2] Over 1400 years ago, the divine Quran clearly reveals 5 (five) significant aspects to every follower of Islam, meaning “peace”, in building a society of tolerance and compassion among religions.
[3] These are as follows — First: Everyone’s human dignity must be respected, regardless of his or her faith, race, ethnic origin, gender, or social status (Surah Al Isra, Ayat: 70).
[4] Second: Islam teaches it is by divine Will that Allah’s human creation follows different religions, or no religion at all — no religion is nevertheless a faith or belief system (Surah Yunus, Ayat: 99). But Almighty Allah is not pleased when some humans choose not to believe (Surah Az-Zumar, Ayat: 7).
[5] Third: The Quran states clearly that freedom of religion is an Allah given right (Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat: 256).
[6] Fourth: The final judgment of all humanity lies in the hands of Almighty Allah, to whom we all ultimately return (Surah Al-Hajj, Ayat: 68-69 and Ash-Shura, Ayat: 15). [7] Fifth: Allah loves justice and those who strive to practice it, especially toward people who are different from them, mainly of religious belief (Surah Al-Maidah, Ayat: 8 and Al-Mumtahana, Ayat: 8).
