[6] Till 10 am yesterday ( April 01), orders have been cancelled or halted at 1068 garment factories across the country. [7] The BGMEA chief warned of extensive loss if the prevailing situation continues for the next few months.
[8] According to projection by the Asian Development Bank, Bangladesh economy is likely to lose 1.10 per cent of its GDP, or $ 3.02 billion, in addition to 8.95 job losses due to the coronavirus pandemic.
