[2] A delegation led by vice-president of National Deeni Madrasa Education Board Dr.Maulana Mushtaq Ahmad and Maulana Yahiya and Board’s secretary general Mufti Mohammad Ali had a meeting with cabinet secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam on the reopening of the Quami Madrasa, reports Bangla Tribune.
[3] The delegation submitted an application addressed to the Prime Minister, seeking reopening of the madrasa education and Quami Madrasa in particular.
[4] After the meeting, the cabinet secretary said the Quami Madrasa shut down due to coronavirus will be reopened soon on consultation with the Prime Minister, reports Sara Bangla.[5] Maulana Yahiya Mahmud said they want to assure the government of reopening the Quami Madrasa by maintaining the health guidelines to run the Quami Madrasa, the center for studies of Quran and Hadit.
He said dates of exams of all classes of Quami Madrasa would be announced towards the end of August.
