Malaysia is all set to host its first ever Malaysian Golden Global Awards.
Malaysia International Film Festival and Malaysia Golden Global Awards (MGGA) will take place in the first quarter of next year.
The first part of the inaugural event, which is the film festival section, is going to run from February to March while the second part, the awards ceremony, is going to be the finale of the whole
event.
MGGA is established in 2016, a combined effort by Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan, with assistance from CEO of Taiwan Golden Horse Awards, Wen Tien Hsiang.
According to its official Facebook page, MGGA aims to “provide opportunities and an accessible platform for movie producers at a local and international level to champion new creative talents”.
