[2] The Agriculture Ministry has projected that the production of rice, wheat, pulse, onion, garlic, fish and meat will exceed the target in the country. Apart from that, 17 lakh tons of rice is now stored at the government storehouse which is 1.50 lakh tons higher than the previous year. Against this backdrop, there will be no food crisis in the country if the low-income groups of people are delivered foods at a low price.
