[3] French shipping company CNC Line and Hong Kong based Sandong International Transportation Corporation jointly introduced this new Bay Bengal Express-2 (BBX-2). [7] Earlier, it took 22 days to 25 days to reach Chattogram port. The cost of shipment of goods would also come down.
Besides, Vietnam would be an important port of call for Bangladesh.
Bangladeshi ships would require four-five days less to reach out its products to the US West Coast.
Presently, it requires nearly one month for Bangladesh to export its goods to the US.
