The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) has taken an initiative to construct a spectacular building at Purbachal area in Dhaka, reports sarabangla.net.
The design of the boat-shaped 50-storied building has already been finalized. The final design will be sent to Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (Rajuk) for approval.
The top leaders of the apex trade body said that the building will be constructed elsewhere if the land allocation process gets delayed.
They said that they do not want to waste time in constructing the multi-storied building after getting approval.
Muntakim Ashraf, senior vice president of the FBCCI said that the Prime Minister allocated land for the building at Purbachal area.
We want to construct an iconic building. A design has been approved,” said he.
“The PM has given verbal consent to the front side design of the building. The building will be built over an area of 54 kathas of land,” he added.
Private architectural farm Sustantivo Design Consultants has been assigned to design the building. The farm has already finished the design of the external structure.
