[2] In Shariatpur, the local administration put five houses of Naria upazila under lockdown to prevent transmission of coronavirus following the death of a young man who had admitted to isolation ward of Shariatpur Sadar Hospital, reports Bangla Tribune. [3] Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Saiful Islam said that considering the current situation, they put the five houses under lockdown.
[4] In Noakhali, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tina Pal said two houses in Sonaimuri upazila of Noakhali were locked down after six people including two children of two families of the area were sent to isolation ward following their cold, fever and cough, reports jamuna.tv.
[5] Meanwhile, three people were sent to home-quarantine in the last 24 hours till yesterday morning and besides, 142 people were released from home-quarantine as their 14-day isolation period ended, Civil Surgeon Dr Mohamamd Niatuzzaman said.
