A month due to the winter, different places including the capital saw drizzling all the day yesterday. A Met official said a low pressure in the Bay of Bengal was causing the unanticipated rain in the late autumn, preceded by relative warm in the last few days. Ruhul Kuddus, an expert at Bangladesh metrological department, said the drizzling was predicted to continue to17-18 November. Warning signal 1 or 2 has been issued for coastal regions, including maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra due to the depression. Fishing boats and fisherman were cautioned to go in the deep sea until further notification regarding the weather by the Meteorological department. Ruhul Kuddus also said the drizzling had contributed to reduce the average temperature to 22 to 23 degree Celsius from 25-26 degree Celsius prevailing in the last few days. He also added the winter cold could be felt after the depression in the end of November, a bit earlier may be.
