So the world stands stunned. Hillary’s defeat was the most surprising and choking for many in the US political history. No presidential candidate was so sure about victory like Hillary. Not only the Hillary supporters, it was also the opposition who were prepared for the Democrat victory.

They had all their calculations in place. They well knew that Trump would finally stand no chance in the face of charismatic career of the Hillary.

All the press and analysts has their mathematics done in the wrong pad. Their research of history and opinion polls, swing voters, public mood, socio economic needs etc., all went so wrong that the methods of research and analyses will require thorough revamping.

Why d id Trump make it last? There will be breakdowns and serious scrutiny and souls searching in all quarters for quite e along time.  From what w have learned so far that the main reason of his overwhelming victory was the thumbs up from the large majority of common voters.

We will learn more about the state by state situations. For now we all ought to be content by the fact that the controversial and feared (?) man is the President of USA with all his background checked and talked.

So for US and the Americans the criteria of a presidential candidate will have to be rewritten. What makes the ideal candidate and who deserves to be in the White House, what should be his skills and abilities to rule America and decide on foreign policies? What grades should he is expected to achieve to make decision on the socio economy issues of America and the world? What ought to be his minimum educational background and depth of knowledge?

Ronald Reagan made to the Capitol Hill with his not so rich back ground. He rode on his popularity. What was the reason of his popularity is still a mystery now what helped Trump to win will be a matter of debate and learning.

That Trump is a billionaire is a huge plus point to be in the race and get elected as the President of USA. His power of wealth led him to dare this venture. He could spend out millions in campaign and hiring the right kind of people to bolster his cause. His strong tongue also impressed upon many a thousand who took a chance by casting the ballot in his favor.

We will see a different President in the White House. We expect that Trump will be hard on illegal matters and come out strongly against the internal wrong doings of the US administration thus far. He should stand out and show the world that his aggression will be of actual benefit to the people of America and the world.

For Bangladesh he should be a good friend. As the US ambassador in Dhaka assured us that there will be no change in US policy regarding Bangladesh. I think she told this with Hillary in her mind. Now it’s Trump!
