Unnaturally Wonders! Part 2

1. Fruits and Vegetables: You are like, “What? Cultivating?” Not just cultivating, man-made controlled mutation and weird evolutions happened in the past. Lots of trees did not mean abundance of fruits or crops. Most of them were not eatable or just size of our teeth.
It is a fortune that we can fat these days.
Once tiny grass ‘Teosinte’ of the Mexico’s Central Balsas River Valley, had to go through artificial selection and generations of cultivation by ancient farmers since 10,000 years ago. To finally become fully kernel filled Corn! Until Banana started becoming domesticated in New Guinea around 6,500 years ago, it was just size of a swollen thumb and contained nasty seeds. The Tomato we eat today happened in the process of a vegetable cancer, that men let flourish in a controlled way. Till it was not the size of a cherry anymore. Delicious almonds were once used as poisons for weaponry. But someone was very hard-headed and determined to figure a way to make it eatable.
2. Domestic Animals
Our love for meat made us domesticize animals in the very early years of human civilizations. Even they realized, the bigger the better! Not the horns or talons though. That is why every cattle and fowl went through selective breeding and mutation over the past years. Cows have pathetic size of horns comparing to their ancestors, but massive in the perspective of size. Average Chickens are now four times larger than the ones of 50 years’ ago.
3. Even Spiders!
Lack of vegetation and provided hard surfaces of the cities, making the spiders evolve in a rapid manner! They have more living places and facing to become more carnivores. A study on 200 Golden Orb Weaver Spiders proves that they are 10 times larger than last recorded in Sydney, Australia! Matter of fact, they aren’t the only insects that are evolving into much stronger form to survive, the rap-sheet is long.
