A truck helper was crushed under the wheels of a speeding truck at Baishpukur in Dimla upazila on Wednesday noon.
The deceased was identified as Belal Hossain, 35, son of Makbul Hossain, a resident of Baishpukur village.
Quoting witnesses, Officer-in-charge of Dimla Police Station Abdul Hannan said Belal was crossing a road around 2:30pm.
At that time, a speeding lorry rammed him, leaving him dead on the spot.                        -UNB
