The agitating workers blockaded Signboard point in Siddhirganj of Narayanganj around 8:30am, causing severe gridlock on the highway, reports The Daily Star.

According to witnesses, the workers also attacked students of schools and colleges in Mouchak area of Siddhirganj.

He said that the blockade enforced by the transport workers has created a gridlock on the busy highway, remaining thousands of passengers stranded.
