At the beganing of third day (2rd March) of Chobi Mela , legendary photographer Rashid Talukder , Shaheen Dill-Riaz and Susan Meiselas’s photography displayed at Drik gallery in Dhanmondi.
In the evening Karen Fromm, Søren Pagter and Munem Wasif sheds lights on ‘Should Photography be taught?’ moderated by Alisha Sett at Geothe Institut. Another discussion took place titled ‘Changing strategies of photography’ by artist Fred Ritchir.
At last there were a discussion titled ‘In the Shadow of the Banyan Tree’, talked by four Pathshala alumnus: Abir Abdullah, Arifur Rahman Munir, Taslima Akhter and Tanzim Wahab.
This year’s event features 33 exhibitions with works from 44 artists spanning 21 countries.
The festival is hosting 8 workshops by prominent photo practitioners from around the world, covering a variety of topics.
