China made a Gladiator robot called The Monkey King. This is a single seat fighting robot. It’s about 4 metric tons and quadrupedal. So that, the robot can walk on four legs and stand back up on two. Not only this but also it has a rotating head and carries a metal staff. The inventor of this robot said it only took about two months to make. The costing of this robot is more than $14 million. Monkey King is the 3rd fighting robot to be unveiled. The inventors have formally challenged the ‘US’ robot, The MK 3 Megabot. A 16-foot two-seater robot what can fire paintballs. But that match will have to wait, because the MK 3 is set to challenge Japan’s robot (The Kuratas) which has 9,000 lb 4-wheeled beast with a BB cannon. We’ll able to see those two battles this August.
