People are already tensed about the increasing prices of their daily goods. Top of it, varieties of tax amounts are increasing as well. Even though, general citizens are deprived of proper public services. Thus, Dhaka still have not become a livable city, said Bangladesh Jubo Union Executive General Secretary Sekendar Hayat. He said these at their protest assembly in front of Press Club, yesterday. Sekendar Hayat claimed that, Dhaka City Corporation has absurdly increased holding taxes of the apartments & houses. They demanded that, unless DCC switch back to previous agreement, they will continue protesting. Meantime, they also urged the government to stop the price-hike of the general goods. All the top leaders of Jubo Union attended the protest assembly. It moved through the major roads of Dhaka, and finally ending at the Old Paltan.
