On Monday the senior vice-chairman of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Tarique Rahman sent a legal notice to the Prime Minister’s political advisor HT Imam asking him to apologies to people or Tarique for his recent insulting remarks against him.
Tarique’s lawyer Kayser Kamal sent the legal notice which said that Tarique will file a criminal case against HT Imam if he fails to act in response to the legal notice within two weeks.
The notice said that, HT Imam said in a seminar at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center on March 19 that he had information about Tarique Rahman who visited Pakistan from London on several occasion to meet the underworld crime boss Dawood Ibrahim being his associate.
The notice was sent to the Prime Minister’s office.
