The heavy shower in Mirpur area can hamper the much-hyped Asia Cup final between host Bangladesh and India this evening at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Thunderstrike can upset the Bangladeshi fans’ anticipation as they are making their way to the ground in droves to take their hard-won places in the stadium.

However, according to messages received from the country’s Met Office, the weather forecast for the next few hours was uncertain.

If it causes a wash out the match the five-nation champion trophy will be shared by both the finalists as there is no reserved day for the final.
