Desk Report: Like Eid in the previous year single-track albums, mostly in music video forms, will dominate Eid music releases, reports New Age. Record labels are gearing up to release around 100 single-track albums on online platforms, along with a few physical CDs to entertain music lovers this Eid. Leading record label G-series and its sister-concern Agniveena are releasing the highest number of albums and music videos this Eid-ul-Azha.
They are releasing in total 80 single-track and mixed albums covering almost all music genres.
Bappa Majumder and Kona’s duet Abonil, Sandipan’s self-titled folk fusion album, Topu’s Ekta Gopon Kotha, Rukhsana Mumtaz’s Hajar Kothar Moron Hole, Samarjit Roy’s E Ghor Sraboney, FA Sumon’s Abhinoy, Lumin’s Nilimar Galicha, Sagor Baul’s Baramkhana and others will be released in Eid.
Mixed albums like Prince Mahmud Mixed, Kalar Shokey by Rinku, Dipu and Beauty and few others will also be released by G-series.
The record label has released Sudeb Biswas’ Tagore album Bujhi Ele, Srabani Sen Tusi’s Tagore album Ki Bole Koribo Nibedan, rock band Dhusar’s self-titled album and Dr Zahid Khan’s Smriti Bedona. It is also releasing a number of movies and teleplays.
Another renowned record label Laser Vision is releasing 15 single-track and mixed albums by singers like Belal Khan, Imran, Puja, Ajoy Mitra and others.
Laser Vision will release single-track albums like Tapan Chowdhury and Swaralipi’s duet Eito Besh Achhi, Fahmida Nabi’s Chhui Na Chhui, Ajay Mitra’s Kichu Prem, FA Sumon’s Fatur and others.
Besides the singles, the label is releasing mixed album Bhai Brothers and Sania Roma’s single Ranger Jadukar.
Bengal Foundation has released a duet album titled ‘Amar Gaaner Prante’ by Fahmida Nabi and Samina Chowdhury. The album contains 10 cover songs originally sung by Mahmudun Nabi such as Tumi je amar kobita, Baro eka eka lagey, Tumi kakhon ese, Surer bhubane ami ajo and others.
Dhrubo Music Station is releasing a few singles like Salma and Tanjib’s duet song Poramon, Dhruba Guha’s Tomar Ichche Hole, Emon Khan’s Bhul Manusher Ghar, Imran’s Amar Icche Tomar Hok and Chitra’s Tor Karone.
Fazlur Rahman Babu and Mamtaz’s duet folk song Shunya Bari is being released by Eagle Music. The label is also releasing Salma’s Behaya Mon, Zisan Khan’s Ek Sundori Maiya, FA Sumon’s Ay Sakhi Ay na and others.
Another record label CMV Music has released eight singles including Kona’s Bondhu, Arman Alif’s Beiman, Atiq Shams’s Khub Ochetan, Sheniz’s Jachhi Ure and others.
