Dr. Bashir Ahmed; Chief of Respiratory Medicine of Mohakhali’s National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital said that the emergency department of the hospital consisting of 700 beds has begun the arrangement of providing nebulizers every hour to at least 36 patients.Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim inaugurated the central nebulizer system on Tuesday.The program was organized by Access to Information (A2I). A2I added this system to the National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital.Mohammad Nasim said that the Sheikh Hasina National Institute Of Burn And Plastic Surgery will be inaugurated in Dhaka’s Chankharpul coming June-July. He also added that Dhaka Medical College and Hospital will be modernized and 1500 beds will be added to the National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital. The program, presided by Director of Health Dr. Samir Ranjam Sarkar was attended by Professor Dr. Shahidur Rahman Khan and Professor Dr. Bashir Ahmed of the National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital where they delivered speeches.
