Shakib Al Hassan has received the best sportsman award for 2017, reports Banglanews24. The Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA) announced the ‘Kool BSPA Sports Award 2017’ and nominated Shakib and two others for the award. Alongside Shakib Al Hassan, the two others are- Arnab Sarar Ladif and Mohammed Jafar Iqbal. They were adjudged the best sports man of 2017 in their respective fields.The award giving ceremony was held at the Hotel Sonargoan in the city on Saturday. Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed handed over the awards and the certificates to the winners. BSPA president Mostafa Mamun chaired the function, while sportsmen, crickets, footballers, players, organizers, stars and many others joined it.The BSPA has been giving the award among the best players of different disciplines, organizers, coaches, sponsors and special awards since 1964.
