Anadolu Agency: A monthly statistical report by the Saudi justice ministry has revealed that enforcement courts across the kingdom received over 72,000 case applications, a 32 percent increase compared to same period last year. The value of application orders totaled more than 4.5 billion dollars (17 billion Saudi riyals). Financial enforcement applications made up 97 percent of the total enforcement applications, and major cities such as Mecca (over 22,000 applications), Riyadh (over 19,000 applications), and Eastern province (over 10000 applications) topped the list making up 73 percent of the total applications. The average daily applications range from 2,804 to 5,041. Enforcement applicants can inquire and follow up on their applications through the ministry’s online portal, using their national ID number. Similarly, defendants can also follow the cases filed against them through the portal and see the justifications behind penalties received.
