In the 12th National Assembly Election 2024, Parbatya Ratna Parbatya Bir Mr. Bir Bahadur Ushaisingh M,P Sir is the boatman for the 7th time.
Awami League’s heavyweight candidate Bir Bahadur Ushaisingh has won the 12th National Assembly election in Bandarban 300 seat with huge votes for the 7th time in a row. In the results of 182 centers of the district, Bir Bahadur got 1 lakh 72 thousand, 671 votes as a private. His rival Jatiya Party candidate AT,M Shahidul Islam 10,361 votesgets District Returning Officer Shah Mojahid Uddin announced the result.
In the 12th National Assembly elections, Bir Bahadur Ushaisingh has been declared the winner for the 7th time in the last 300 seat in Bandarban and the results have been announced privately. District Returning Officer and Bandarban District Commissioner Shah Mujahid Uddin announced the result in the District Commissioner’s auditorium on 7th January night. He said that there are 2 lakh 88 thousand 30 voters in 182 centers in the district. Among the two candidates, Bir Bahadur Ushaisingh with the boat symbol got 172671 votes and was the closest.
Rival ATM Shahidul Islam got 10361 votes with plow symbol. By noon, the presence of women voters was more than men. Voting in 182 polling stations of 34 unions in 7 upazilas of the district ended without any conflict. The results of each center show that Awami League’s Bir Bahadur got more votes than the Jatiya Party candidate. It should be noted that Bir Bahadur Ushaisingh has been elected MP 6 times since 1991 and the last Minister of the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts. This time he was elected for the 7th time.
