Sofian Khan: Quota reform demonstrators yesterday paraded against ruling party activists, demanding their activists’ security at the dormitories. Some thousand students marched from the central library of Dhaka University protesting Bangladesh Chhatra League’s (BCL) threats to two of their activists. According to them, two frontline leaders of Bangladesh Sadharan Chhatra Adhikar Sanrakshan Parishad Nurul Huq Nur and Rashed Khan faced threats by BCL activists at Haji Muhammad Mohsin Hall tuesday night.
“Chhatra League men led by central Vice President Imtiaz Bulbul Bappi, Mohsin hall’s Secretary Mehedi Hasan, and Institute of Fine Arts’ Secretary Fahimul Islam threatened us last night,” alleged a joint convener of the platform Nurul Huq.
