Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sought South Korean investment and cooperation in generating power and establishing ICT training centres in Bangladesh.
She came up with the hope when newly appointed South Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Hu Kang-il met her at her office yesterday, reports BSS.
PM’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed reporters after the meeting. He said the Prime Minister told the envoy that her government emphasises developing ICT sector in the country. It would be helpful if the South Korea extends its cooperation in this regard, the secretary said.
