General people of Muradnagar are frightened about the current situation in their upazilla of Comilla. Five murder cases were reported from April to June, regarding area domination. Victims were man-slaughtered or hacked by weapons. Families of the murder-victims have lost any hope of proper judgement. People are very much worried about the security in this area.

Many are saying that, these radical-acts occurred regarding area domination complexities & for the wide-spread of illegal drugs among the youngsters. Since, all of these murder cases were disturbingly horrible in every way possible. Most conflicts started as simple feuds, but led to violent death of a person. Sometimes, several murderers were involved in the murder & covering up the stories. In one case, murderers were not even related to the victim at all, as the event just occurred in a simultaneous haze.

Police say, these are not something that occurred due to, or proves the degrading security. Also, they have successfully identified the murderers who were involved.

Moral values are deteriorating rapidly in this area, claims a Senior Teacher of this upazilla. He suggests of increasing ethic & moral studies in the education system.
