MEMO: Dozens of Palestinian journalists took part in a protest yesterday outside Israel’s Ofer prison in the central occupied West Bank, to demand the release of 21 imprisoned journalists, reported Xinhua. The journalists held photos of their jailed colleagues and slogans calling for their immediate release. According to Xinhua, the protest was initiated by the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate. Omar Nazzal, member of the Syndicate Secretariat, said: “We stand here before several crimes by the occupation that takes more than one form.”
