Padma Lakshmi who is a Chennai born super model, actress, author, recently opened up about her marriage to Salman Rushdie, an author.
She revealed the secret in her memoir Love, Loss and What We Ate and also shared some revealing information.
Reportedly, she got married to Man-Booker Prize winner author in 2004. The marriage ended in 2007.
She wrote about the time of her marriage where she claimed she stayed away from physical activity due to her illness but Rushdie would term her as bad investment.
Padma has a daughter named Krishna with computer genius Adam Dell while this was Salman Rushdie’s fourth marriage.
Padma Lakshmi is 23 years younger than Salman Rushdie.
