In his recent visit to Cuba, United States President Barak Obama, has said that fight back against the inhumanity of the ISIS is his number one priority. This statement came following the attack in Brussels which took the lives of over 30 people and left more than 270 others injured. He further degraded the republican supporters’ calls to begin immediate surveillance on all Muslim neighborhoods in the USA, calling it immoral and a contradiction to the value upheld in the US Constitution.
Obama made his statements while on a visit to Cuba, he directly took on presidential candidate Ted Cruz, saying that his party’s proposal to immediately begin surveillance was akin to the restrictions on religion and free speech in Cuba; a situation that must be stood up against. He further expressed sorrow that a man like Ted Cruz could even suggest such a things as his very own father had escaped Cuba in order to come to America to live in freedom.
Obama believes that any drastic steps will further incite the ISIS and its supporters’, encouraging them to recruit more people willing to sacrifice their lives for what they believe to be justice. He further condemned the Republics thoughts as to carpet bombing Iraq and Syria, calling it inhumane and incomprehensible. Obama says that as long as he is in the White House, his policies will remain unchanged; he believes that the way they are now approaching the Iraq and Syrian affair is most effective, he does not wish to use further violence or any sort of propaganda just because its political season.
