They had no urge economical desperation. Rather, getting involved into terrorism was an adventure for them. All their lives were spent in English medium schools and they had little knowledge about anything else. Hence, misleading them with false religious interpretation was an easy job, said, CTTC Chief Monirul Islam.
He also said that, Bangladesh is barely affected by the reasons the terrorists fight globally or internationally. That is to establish the power of Sunnis. But, Bangladesh itself is a Muslim majority country and there is no practical & similar reason for any form of up rise. These Bangladeshi terrorists born solely from ill-minded anti-Bangladeshi foreign organizations. Also, it gives these young minds a taste of adventure.
Monirul Islam lastly said that, eradicating terrorism is not a singular task for government or law-enforcement authorities. It needs to be cured socially & mentally. Parents & teachers should be more open & sophisticated. Altogether a general awareness should be created. Media can also play a great part in this.
