Tahmeed Taha: On the issue of quota system in public service no progress has been made so far, said Cabinet secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam. After the cabinet meeting yesterday he made the remarks to reporters. To revoke or reform the quota system, no  discus sion was held in the cabinet meeting, he said. Moreover, no update about forming committee on this issue was heard, reports AP. He added, “We are asking public administration ministry to inform us the progress in this matter and let us also know the to-do works. We are hoping that gazette notification will be published soon.”
