The Big Fat Greek Wedding is comingabck after 14 years. It was a budget movie that surprisingly became a hit. It took Nia Vardalos, the actress and writer of the story 14 years to bring out the sequel.
“I couldn’t do it”, she said while admitting that her cast memebers pleaded her to start writing the  script for the sequel.
In her defense she said, she just didn’t know what story to write for the next stage.
However, she manged to come up with a new story and is ready to  pen the next script!
The idea came to her when she was telling her daughter about how Olympics started in Greece.
The sequel shows Toula, the Greek girl who gets married and has a daughter in the previous story, is now mother to a teenage girl.
