PSG is ready to welcome the Brazilian player Neymar for £199 million. This will break the current record which is containing Manchester United for Paul Pogba. It is almost double than this and almost two and half times more than Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid. It implies that they could not exceed the boundaries with which they could carry Neymar. But PSG is not in the top 10 richest clubs as they are paying almost one-third of their value in one player.
There are a lot of questions in everyone’s mind that, is the full amount in one go? Or in installments? Either it will be for three years?
Football finance expert Dr Rob Wilson says that, “What you tend to find is when clubs buy a player – for large amounts or small – they will stagger these payments over a course of a contract,”
He also added that Neymar signs a 10 years contact and PSG will pay 20 million pound per year to Barcelona. It is also mandatory that FCB has to agree on time length. In 2009 Cristiano Ronaldo signed for Real Madrid and the club paid the full money to Manchester United.
