Bangladesh Bank is distributing new paper-bills in market for the festive occasion Eid-ul-Azha, from today. They will be distributing till 31 August, from their office counter. Announced BB Executive Director Subhankar Saha. Also, 14 other government-private banks will be providing these notes.
One person cannot collect more than 18 thousand taka, not more than one packet per kind of bills and at one time only. Each packet consists of a hundred notes only. Ranging from 5 – 100 taka paper-bills. At the same time, they can collect metal coins as well.
The banks those will be providing this opportunity are – National Bank Jatrabari Branch, Agrani Bank Elephat Road Branch, Social Islami Bank Basundhara City Branch, Bank Asia Dhanmondi Branch, Dhaka Bank Uttara Branch, Janata Bank Abdul-Gani Road Corporate Branch, The Citi Bank Mirpur Branch, Shahjalal Islami Bank Malibag Branch, Markentile Bank Banani Branch, Sonali Bank Ramna Branch, One Bank Bashabo Branch, IFC Bank Gulsan Branch, Fast Security Islami Bank Md.Pur Branch and Rupali Bank Mahakhali Branch.
