National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Md Nazibur Rahman has been made the principal secretary to the prime minister, reports the Daily Star. The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard today.Nazibur, who joined BCS Administration Cadre in 1982, served as Environment and Forests secretary, Statistics and Informatics Division secretary and director general of Department of Environment prior to assuming office as the NBR chief.Born in Chhatak upazila of Sunamganj district in 1960, Nazibur Rahman achieved his graduation and post-graduation degrees from Sociology Department of Dhaka University.
