 Cumilla-2 constituency parliamentarian and vice-president of Cumilla Northern District Awami League Selima Ahmed Mary has demanded withdrawal of Cumilla Homna’s UNO, Tapti Chakma.  Moreover, MP Mary termed her ‘razakar’.  MP also claimed that UNO had humiliated Bangabandhu at the press conference. After the incident, UNO left the workplace on a seven-day leave.  However, the District Commissioner. Abul Fazal Mir claimed that UNO was not been withdrawn and she is currently on leave, reports Bangla Tribune. An administrative officer of the UNO Chakma’s office said that the driver of the Homona Upazila Parishad Chairman Rehana Begum has a tin shed shop in the Homna bus stand area. Homna Upazila Hawkers League president, Momin wanted to go to that shop for hanging a banner on Sunday (March 1). At that time driver of Rehana, Shahjalal stopped him to go there as he feared that the tin shed of the shop will be broken.  Momin complained to UNO Tapti Chakma about the incident. UNO later summoned the two and settled the matter. Besides, driver Shahjalal apologized to Momin.
 Still, some activists, who followed the MP, staged a protest in front of the UNO office on Tuesday morning.
 Later, MP Mary convened a press conference at her political office at the Upazila Sadar at around 4pm and demanded UNO to be withdrawan within 24 hours.
