DOT Desk: The government is unlikely to allow motorcycles on Padma Bridge before Eid-ul-Azha.
“Decision on allowing motorcycles on Padma bridge will be taken after installing CCTV cameras and speed guns… It is difficult to do it before this Eid-ul-Azha,” Cabinet secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam told reporters tyesterday, reports TBS.
He was replying to a query at the Secretariate.
The Bridge Division, under the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, banned motorcycles on Padma Bridge from June 27, 2022 until further notice.
