The present government is working for the welfare of every religion. Prime Minister of Awami League government Sheikh Hasina thinks about the people of Bangladesh and constantly implements various plans for the development of every religion.
On Monday, May 13, Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board Bandarban unit implemented two development projects at a cost of about 70 lakh rupees after the inauguration of two development projects at Balaghata Sarvajanin Sri Sri Rakshakali Mandir premises. Chairman of Standing Committee Bir Bahadur Ushaisingh MP made such comments.
Bir Bahadur Ushaisingh MP also said, religion will be for everyone, country will be for all of us. We all have to live unitedly to speed up the development of Bangladesh by protecting religious harmony.
12 communities live in Bandarban district. Besides the Bengalis, the people of 11 other ethnic groups have come together in harmony and made Bandarban known as the district of harmony. The present government is implementing many development activities in the hilly areas as well as the plains and because of that various inaccessible hilly districtsEven at the union level, many religious institutions including mosques, temples, churches, temples are being constructed. He expressed hope that Bangladesh will move forward with the unity of all religions and harmony. Before the exchange meeting, Bir Bahadur Ushaisingh MP inaugurated the implementation of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board Bandarban Unit at the cost of Tk 30 lakhs of Balaghata Hajipara Jame Masjid ablutions and Tk 40 lakhs of expansion of Balaghata Sarvajan Sri Sri Rakshakali Mandir.
Mayor of Bandarban Municipality Md. Samsul Islam, Trustee of Bangladesh Hindu Religious Welfare Trust Amal Kanti Das, Chairman of Kuhlang Union Parishad Mongpu Marma, Executive Engineer of Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board Bandarban Unit Abu Bin Mohammad Yashir Arafat, Balaghata Public Sri Sri Rakshakali MandirPresident Priyatosh Chowdhury and others were present.
