During the announcement of each fiscal year’s budget, corrupts get a chance to launder their money. Such, culture only encouraging more corrupts, comments Campaign for Good Governance (SUPRO) at an event hosted by their Chairman S.M. Harun Or Rashid at Dhaka Reporters Unit round-table meeting.
This system fails the campaign for corruption prevention and establishment of just law, strongly claims the speakers of SUPRO and spoke against such cliché-like money-laundering system. They demanded to halt this system this year. They also added that, 93% of the 2011-12 budget was successfully actualized and that reduced down to only 78% in 2015-16. Therefore, the government should focus more on successfully implementing the full budget rather than taking up some contradictory and half assed policies.
