A man was killed due to bee bites at Madrasa Para village in Haripur upazila of the district on Sunday.
The victim is Akhtar Hossain Chowdhury, 50, son of late Abul Kalam Chowdhury of the village. Family sources said Akhtar Hossain Chowdhury was badly bitten by a large group of bees from nearby mango tree while he was taking rest at a mango garden beside his home.
