Passengers’ travel-safety will be given the highest priority during the Eid season. There will be 16 special train services around Eid. Especially for Dhaka to Chittagong, Sylhet & Parbotipur, journeys 3 days of before & after of Eid. Sholakiya will have separate services as well, assures Rail Minister. Several Consumer Association of Bangladesh, also urged all the divisional authorities for united cooperation & efforts.  Past estimation shows, train-passengers increase by 40% during the Eid season. That is 2.5 lacs daily. But the numbers go even higher in last 3 days before Eid. That, it becomes incomprehensible to determine.

Since, train rides are always comparatively more comfortable & cheap. Also, 1,808km meter-gauge & 409km broad gauge rail-ways connect significant amount of areas all over the country with 380. Railway is most popular choice for traveling.Railway workshops are hustling for maintaining their service as each year. They will be adding 20 thousands more sits and 86 extra bogies. The authorities will also keep extra eyes to prevent black-marketing of train tickets.
