Police arrested the district ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Nur Mohammad, from Agardari Abeder Haat village in sadar upazila of Satkhira district early Friday. The law enforcers also recovered huge explosives, 15 crude bombs and some jihadi books from his possession. Tipped off, a team of police conducted a raid on the house of one Khalek in Satkhira sadar upazila and arrested Nur Mohammad, 50, son of late Niamat Ali around 1:00 am, said Hasan Hafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
