According to UN, “International Women’s Day is a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.
In the United States, March 8 is celebrated as Women’s Day.
For the month of March, music streaming service Spotify has joined in on the fun with a series of playlists highlighting outstanding female artists in their respective genres. And one playlist in particular we find especially awesome.
According to them, “From sultry vocalists and sexy divas to cutesy girl groups, the women of K-pop are a formidable force to be reckoned with”.
