DOT Desk: The Indian Railway department has issued a notice to Hanuman, a Hindu god, requesting for the removal of “encroachment” on railway property in Madhya Pradesh, reports Dhaka Tribune.
However, the notice was removed later when the department realized its mistake, reports the Times of India. The notice was issued on February 8 addressing the Hidnu Gpd to remove the encroachment within a week or else the department will take actions.
The encroacher will have to pay the expense if the department starts to remove the illegal structures, the notice said.
The notice was served mistakenly, said Jhansi Railway Division’s Public Relation Officer (PRO) Manoj Mathur. The Railway removed the notice when the incident went viral and caused a mayhem.
“A new notice has been served to the priest of the temple,” he added.
