On the first day of the ban in Amtali, Barguna, Payra was charged with hilsa hunting in the Burishwar River. A fisherman named Sohail was sentenced to 22 days imprisonment by the mobile court. On Thursday, October 12, mobile court judge Abdullah Abu Jaher gave this order. Amtali Upazila Senior Fisheries Officer Halima Sardar confirmed the matter and said that 22 days from October 12 to November 2 is the main breeding season of hilsa, so hilsa fishing will be closed.
