Students of Hare school expressed their vanity as Former President of Bangladesh, Ziaur Rahman was also a student there. Hare school is known to be the oldest school in Kolkata. Picture of Ziarur Rahman has been used in the posters printed by Alumni Association to observe the institute’s 200 years anniversary. On condition of anonymity, A member of the Alumni Association said, Ziaur Rahman has not been given any reception earlier. So we thought that this is the prime time to do that.Principal of the school Dr. SK Das said, “Former President of Bangladesh Ziaur Rahman was a student of our school and we are proud of him. Also true that posters are printed using his picture but, the school authorities don’t know anything about it. Alumni Association is organizing the whole anniversary event.” Alumni association is an association of former students who organize events affiliating the current students in an educational institute.
