Govt takes rigid stance about drug: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said current government has taken rigid stance regarding drug. The government is in zero-tolerance ground to prevent the drug from the society, he added. The minister said these on Wednesday at a press briefing at Fatullah in Narayanganj. The press briefing was held after the minister inaugurated some projects there. He inaugurated a manufacturing center named ‘Regilians’, Jamdani Products center and some other projects – reports BDnews24.Asaduzzaman said that the prison authorities were asked strictly so that the drug can not enter there by any means.“If necessary, voice record could be preserved. Every prison is rehabilitation centre for prisoners. Measures are being taken one after another. Metal detector will be placed to spot holes in prison. We are trying to control this problem,” the minister said.
