The government is prepared to construct 360 Liberation War Memorial Museums at numerous historical sites of 1971’s liberation war aiming toward imbuing the new generation with its spirit. Assistant Chief of Ministry of Liberation War Affairs Md. Mominur Rahman said, “We are going to start construction of 360 Liberation War museums across the country as part of the initiative of preserving the historical sites of the great-war, as the project has already been okayed.”
The government regarding the project has estimated around Taka 200 crores for preserving the 360 historical places of the Liberation War that are aimed at helping the new generation to know the facts and glory of the 71’s Liberation War – reports BSS.A Development Project Proforma on January was sent to the Planning Commission and is awaiting for approval. The project is targeted to be completed by 2029. Earlier, 65 Muktijoddha Smriti Stambho (Liberation War Memorial Monument) was built at 36 upazilas at different parts of the country by the government.
