Religious Affairs Minister Principal Matiur Rahman said Government is seeking its report with recommendations against Hajj Agencies those are convicted of anomalies. As reported earlier, a total of 367 people could not perform the Hajj although Visas were issued against their names this year. On Thursday according to his statement, government has already formed a committee to evaluate any involvements. Hajj agencies those were brought allegations against are soon to face hearings. The committee formed will provide recommendation afterwards, said the minister. Of the 127,229 Bangladeshis who went to perform Hajj this year, 4,195 under the government management. In the last four years, a total of 999 people performed the Holy Hajj with the government cost.
