Samiul Bashar Samin:
Game of Thrones fans all over the world have been eagerly waiting for the premiere of the Season 6 with the mother of cliffhangers still holding a dark cloud over our heads.
With Jon Snow’s death in the final episode of Season 5, there have been countless theories extended over the possible resurrection of the fan favorite character. Jon Snow was stabbed in the last episode of Season 5 with his blood staining the snow and fans aren’t quite prepared to take it with a grain of salt yet.
With a number of overlapping storylines ebbing in and out of the series, this season is tapped to be another nail-biting saga. Danerys Targaryen is also tipped to arrive in Westoros, according to some theories and with Arya Stark’s emergence as a trained assassin and Bran Stark’s training as a watcher, everyone is just on their toes about what’s to happen next.
In the meanwhile, King’s Landing seems to be in a tense situation as well with the insurgents rising against the Lannisters in order to overthrow them. Betrayal seems to be the only constant in this entire series but its unpredictable storyline can sweep you off your feet at any second.
Kit Harrington, the British actor playing Jon Snow, has suggested that he might be in Season 6 but perhaps as a corpse. The gritty storyline seems to have a twist in every episode and putting off a possible resurrection wouldn’t really be wise either.
And the producers have also announced that the TV series plans to run a relatively separate storyline from the actual storyline from the book.
The 50 second teaser just made us bite our nails even more intensely. We’ll just have to wait for the season premiere on April 24 to see what happens.
